Tågtavlan: Real-Time Train Information at Your Fingertips
Tågtavlan is an iPhone application that provides real-time traffic information for the nearest train stations in Sweden. Developed by Theodor Storm, this free app has been serving train travelers since 2010.
With Tågtavlan, users can access information for all Swedish train stations and train companies operating on the Swedish railway. The app retrieves data from the Swedish Transport Administration's open API, offering not only long-distance and local trains but also SL's commuter trains, Arlanda Express, and other rail-bound commuter traffic. Please note that bus services, subways, trams, and other local transportation are not included in this app.
Tågtavlan displays all train information made available by the Swedish Transport Administration through its open API. However, it is important to note that international stations are only supported if the train operators report this information to the Swedish Transport Administration. Please ensure an internet connection is available to use this app effectively.
